Stiles Associates placed a number of A-level leaders in mission-critical roles located across the country in the first quarter of 2023. In order to better inform the marketplace on the latest compensation data, we added first-year bonus numbers and whether or not the placed candidate received a sign-on bonus.
Additionally, we revamped the client information – while still keeping the company anonymous – to include more detail about what they do. For example, instead of simply stating the client is in the manufacturing sector, we share it's a "boat interior manufacturer."
What is this Stiles Associates Offer Report?
Every quarter and at the end of the calendar year, we share the latest compensation data from a sampling of roles we filled on behalf of client organizations, which both hiring authorities and candidates alike find beneficial to grasp a timely understanding of the marketplace demands in several sectors. Additional data points stemming from these searches include: job title; client information; location; first-year salary and bonus; and whether or not the placed candidate received a sign-on bonus.
Why is this data important?
The United States is still experiencing a tight labor market, so the Stiles team crunches the data to better understand and inform the marketplace – via this report – on the compensation certain executive roles commanded. This stays relevant as we expect these hiring conditions to remain through at least the rest of the year, and possibly beyond. It's also important to add context with historical data, which is why we lifted the gate to our archived Offer Reports so you can compare and contrast current data to previous years and quarters from 2021 to the present.
One important point to remember is each job search has its own set of unique characteristics and isn't "one size fits all." There are numerous variables that go into an individual's compensation, which is why consulting with a retained executive search firm will better guide hiring authorities to determine the most appropriate compensation package. For job seekers, browse our Assignments page with confidence that we've worked with our client organizations to match the compensation levels with marketplace demands.
